Supplies Needed for this DIY No Sew Felt Christmas Ornament
- Green, black, white, and yellow felt
- Hot glue, glue gun
- Scissors
- Cotton balls
Directions
1. Begin by folding the sheet of green felt in half. This way, when you cut out your tree shape you will have two identical pieces.
2. Cut out your tree shape from the green felt. You can use a cookie cutter as a stencil or freehand like we did.
3. Take your hot glue and run it along the edge of one of the trees. Leave about an inch wide space open. This is where you will tuck the filling.
4. Press the two tree pieces together so they adhere and create the base of your stuffie.
5. Find the 1 inch opening and start stuffing it with cotton. Make sure the stuffie is nice and full.
6. Take the glue and finish closing the stuffie up, running some glue along the one inch opening.
7. Create the face and finishes of your tree. Cut out two large white circles and two smaller black circles to create the eyes. Cut out a small yellow star for the top of the tree.
8. Assemble the face of your tree stuffie as shown. A dab of glue to adhere the eyes and star will do the trick.
